Privacy
Short version
This website is purely static. It sets no cookies, embeds no advertising fonts or scripts, and creates no user account. For visitor statistics it runs a self-hosted Umami installation, which works without cookies and without personal profiles.
Visitor statistics with Umami
Statistics are collected with Umami, open-source software running on our own server in Germany (analytics.krynexlabs.de). No cookies are set and no data is passed to third parties. Recorded are the page visited, the referrer, a coarse device type, the browser and the country of origin; the IP address is not stored but only used to derive an anonymous identifier that changes daily and cannot be traced back to a person. There is no recognition across websites or beyond the day. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR — the legitimate interest in knowing whether and which content is being found.
Server log files
When you open the site, your browser transmits technically necessary data (IP address, time, requested file, browser type) which the hosting provider stores in log files. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR — the legitimate interest in secure, trouble-free operation. This data is not combined with any other source.
External links
Links to GitHub, PayPal and Krynex Labs are ordinary links; no data is transmitted in advance. Only when you click one does that provider process your data under its own terms. PayPal's privacy policy applies to donations, GitHub's to the repository.
